In response to the Onassis Foundation "RE-THINK ATHENS" international ideas competition, together with agence TER landscape architects, we suggested to transform the initial neoclassical triangular grid of Kleanthis and Schaubert into a restored nature climate regulating ring running around the sacred rock, the “Acropolis Necklace”. The National Archaeological Museum of Athens, terminal destination of the planned tram line extension, would become the gem suspended to the necklace.
